For my research topic proposal I chose to complete my research and findings on the effects of El
Nino/El Nina on the state of California. El Nino and El Nina are two different climate patterns in
the Pacific ocean that affect the weather worldwide. In my final research paper and the steps
beforehand I want to describe:
 What El Nino and El Nina patterns are, what causes them, and how the vary year to year.
 What the precipitation and weather outlook are with each
 Whether Global climate change has anything to do with these changing patterns
 The effects specifically on the State of California with the changing patterns year after
year.
 What months this pattern occurs
 Finally what this pattern will look like in the future in the state (will it stay the same or
will there be a change such as more El ninos and less El ninas or the opposite?)
I would also like to have a section where it compares El Niño/el nino effects to another state in the U.S or in another country, and whether these will stay the same.
Also any other interesting information that you find pertaining to this topic would be great. I also attached part of the rubric below.

I have already done a rough draft of introduction however please edit this to suit the results that you enter. I have attached files that have a full description of how to carry out the report. I have also done the R coding needed and pasted the correlated graphs and summaries of data (in document named Biogeography WkShop Report_2422802).I have also attached some powerpoints that include information relevant to the report.

Why can we say that the clothing industry is of a global nature? Explain.

Considering the information included in Table # 1, answer the following questions using key definitions related to this this topic and included in our course textbook (Getis et al. 2009). 2. Why are these garments made in these countries? or, in other words, What locational factors determine the production of garments in these countries? Explain.
3. Why can we say that the clothing industry is of a global nature? Explain.

Read Knox et al. (2014). As you read, consider responses to the following questions:
1.What does it mean to classify the world economy as having a core and a periphery? Why was the category of ‘semi-periphery’ introduced?
2.What are some of the conventional and alternative indicators for human development? Do they all measure the economy?
3.How does energy consumption and ecological footprint correlate with wealth? And agricultural production?
4.What is the demographic transition and how is migration related to it?
5.How is the trade relationship between poorer and richer countries characterised?
500-700 words

Body text that includes:

An ethnography is a scientific description of the customs of individual peoples and cultures. In this assignment, you will write an ethnography about a vernacular aspect of your own culture or subculture. This differs from a biography which is a simple account of one’s life. In this assignment, the subject of ethnographic description is you as a member of the culture you belong to. As a geographic authoethnography spatial themes of place and space should also be present.
Trace your own ethnobiography through a particular vernacular aspect of your culture. Discuss how the cultural geography has helped shaped who you are as a member of that culture (and, if you wish, who your ancestors were). Trace the significant influences the vernacular phenomenon has had on you and your identity. Detail how this aspect of your culture is produced, reproduced, and consumed in everyday ways. How was it transmitted to you and how did it become part of your everyday life? Essentially, what is the significant meaning?

Cover page or introduction statement – Title, your name, assignment & option, instructor, and date.
Body Text that includes:
Introduction – provide context, state topic and research question, and give the reader a roadmap for where the paper is going.
Focus – explain your critical analysis. This should include both the method used and the findings of your research. Use supportive evidence from your source material (See Critical Analysis in Writing handout).
Conclusion – let the reader know what you concluded, or learned, from the evidence. Answer the research question. Show how you supported your argument. Do not simply restate your introduction or summarize your paper.
